This double page spread was taken from Q's magazines issue featuring the singer, Lana Del Rey. The main image of Lana is fairly large, it takes up a full page and is the same size as the main feature (the interview) this suggests her importance and authority in music and celebrity culture. A large, bold 'S' also takes up a fair amount of the double page spread and this is the start of the feature.
The writer of the article uses many different types of features; like juxtaposition. 'She looks demonic standing here in her white slip dress and prom queen crown', the words the word choices are juxtaposed to describe Lana. She looks 'demonic' yet she is wearing a 'prom queen crown.' The article then goes onto say how good Lana is in front of the camera, ''she photographs like a model.'' The photographer has used the choice of an extreme close up to photograph her and the article mentions this to the reader, which is sort of unusual for a music magazine as you would expect this to be written in a fashion or photography magazine. The artists image is the main focus point as this is primarily why people may buy Q magazine.
The main colours used on this page is a very dark choice; black, white, blue tones and red. This colour choice is very dark compared to the front cover of this magazine which used the colours pink and white. The colour choice relates to the words used by the writer, 'demonic'. The use of the blue tones make the bold text stand out. The overall house style of the double page is very modern and professional.
The primary audience of this issue would be fans of the singer Lana Del Rey. A further branch of this audience is obviously the people who buy Q every month or it may be people who are just fans of music and sometimes buy a magazine.
